Garden of Peace Wins Local Lighting Design Award Ripman Lighting Consultants, the lighting designer for the Garden of Peace, has been awarded a 2006 Waterbury Prize for Outdoor Lighting in the International Illumination Design Award program by the New England Section of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. The Garden's lighting design now moves on for evaluation at the regional level and, if successful there, on to the national level judging. We congratulate Chris Ripman and his firm for winning this award that by association recognizes the Garden of Peace's beautiful design.
