*1Fundraising - assisting the Fundraising Committee with their efforts (tasks such as; writing and mailing letters, meeting with individuals and explaining about the Garden of Peace, helping to complete grant/foundation applications, making telephone calls to prospective donors, following up with individuals who have made pledges)

*2Special Events - assisting the Fundraising Committee with their efforts (tasks such as; helping to plan, organize, and carry out special events)

*3Administrative - assisting several committees with their efforts (tasks such as; assisting in mailings, telephone calls, general office organization, etc.)

*4Public Relations - assisting the Public Relations Committee with their efforts (tasks such as; helping to plan, organize, and execute components of the Garden of Peace's public relation campaign. Public Relations includes notifying the public about the Garden of Peace through TV and News Media, Newspapers, Magazines, Government Agencies, Organization Newsletters, Press Releases, etc.)

*5Outreach - assisting the Outreach Committee with their efforts (tasks such as; helping to plan, organize, and execute outreach efforts. Outreach includes notifying the general public about the Garden of Peace through mailings, booths at community organizations, networking with non-profit groups related to violence prevention/homicide)

*6Materials - assisting the Materials Development Committee with their efforts (tasks such as; helping to create and refine our materials)
